Abstract EN

The present study aims to reveal the reality of social responsibility and its relationship to academic achievement motivation among faculty members at Jouf University in the light of some taxonomic variables.

The researcher prepared two scales.

One to measure social responsibility of the faculty members, and the other to measure the academic achievement motivation, and they were applied to the (176) members.

The results indicated that there is a high level for social responsibility, but there is a medium level for academic motivation.

In addition, the results showed a difference between the sexes in favor of males at the center of social responsibility towards the society only, and that there were differences in function between the sexes in academic achievement motivation in favor of females.
