رائحة سوداء لعلي المقري وقد تأسست هذه الرواية على بناء مغاير أفرد مساحة واسعة لكتابة عوالم الهامش بدل كتابة المركز الذي سيطر على الكتابات الإبداعية ردحا من الزمن فكانت هذه الرواية منبرا للآخر الأسود ليسمع صوته المكتوم الذي سلبته إياه ثقافة جائرة معادية للسواد فتمكن الروائي من سرد الأحداث بوعي الزنجي التابع المغلوب على أمره وذلك لإعادة الاعتبار له و لتغيير موضعه حتى يثبت شرعية وجوده و يأخذ لذاته موقعا مركزيا داخل المنظومة الاجتماعية

the margin in a contemporary Yemeni novel: A Black Taste … A Black scent by Ali Al – Maqri.
This novel is a platform for the black other to hear his muffled voice which was stolen by an unfair anti- black culture the novelist was able to recount the events consciously on the neglected subordinate to his command، in order to restore consideration to him to change his position، so that the can prove legitimacy and his quality takes a central position within himself in the social system.
