Abstract EN

This study aimed at assessing the evolution of the economies of North Africa (Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco) during the period (2013-2018), using the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum, where the study is very important for such indicators as a tool to know and Assess the level of performance of the economies of the countries in the global economy, as well as their use as a platform for improving and developing their economies in line with global changes.

The study found that Algeria has made a movement in its rankings for the global Competitiveness Index, and Egypt has also registered slight progress, while Tunisia has retreated by the same index, and Morocco has maintained its ranking, which occupies the best ranking for North African countries.
