Abstract EN

There is an overlap in the study of chivalry as a term, and for many moral reasons it is considered one of the ethical standards.

In this study, therefore, we are attempting to approach the concept of chivalry from a doctrinal viewpoint, so that the definition illustrates the relation between doctrine and ethics.

Because chivalry is a widely used term in many branches of doctrine, our focus has been on knowing the relationship between its meaning in fiqh and custom, which changes with space , time, and people change.

Throughout our research, we find that the definition of chivalry shifts by shifting the context from which it is being analyzed without going beyond the paradigm of good morality and avoiding vices.

Chivalry is present in several chapters of its doctrinal definition, since it is linked to where people are.

The sense of the idea of chivalry will also shift according to their changes in time, location and tradition.

Altogether, the versatility of the idea of chivalry allows for its adaptation to the behaviors and circumstances of various people
