Abstract EN

The rule of submission of the movable material to the law of its location, is one of the rules recognized by the jurisprudence, the legislator and the law.

The Algerian legislator has enshrined this rule in the third paragraph of Article 17 of the Civil Code, but this rule does not suit the rule of furniture in all cases, because there are two important problems preventing the application of this rule; the first relates to the law applicable to means of transport and goods during transportation, while the other also relates to the determination of this law, but in the case of change of furniture from one place to another.
