Theory of argumentation is one of the most important theories that have been concerned with the understanding and interpretation of the discourse.

This study attempts to clarify the extent of the présence of the fallacies in the contemporary Maghrebian criticism, and we chose the rhétorical criticism of Mohamed Al-Omari as a model for our conviction that this contemporary researcher attempts to expose the sophistry of some speakers.
