Traditional crafts constitute one of the most important interests of anthropological study, as it is part of a popular heritage that expresses the culture of society.

These crafts are spread in various Lebanese regions, which many of its villages still preserve.

we find for each craft its tools, resources, method of manufacture, craftsmen, types, social and economic relations, language, history, and the conditions that affect and are affected by it.

Also, the names of some Lebanese families was attached with their craft, like Al-Fakhouri family in relation to pottery, Al-Haddad family due to Arab blacksmithing, etc.

Accountability of the framed conditions of traditional handcraft industries in general and of the Jezzine crafts in particular includes complex problematic with many faces, most notably trends of persuasion, commodification and employment of the artisan element, and research perceptions that secure its lesson and awareness of it, away from the complex dialectical link between the craft and its social, Cultural and historical context.
