Abstract EN

The present study aimed at recognizing the nature of Primary Education Teachers’ attitudes towards the reforms that occurred on the 2nd Generation Syllabuses which was on the primary education stage.

These reforms were implemented on the both the syllabus and the textbooks.

Besides, it aimed at determining the differences in teachers’ attitudes in regard to the difference in gender, experience, and the taught classes.

The researcher adopted the descriptive method which fits the needs of the study objectives.

She designed a questionnaire composed of 31items spreading on three dimensions; cognitive (13 items), behavioural (10 items), and the emotional dimension (8items) to collect data.

Afer being sure of it psychometric features.

The study was applied on a sample group of 100 primary school teachers both male and female inside and outside the district.

The study findings came out as follow: - Primary School Teachers’ attitudes towards 2nd Generations reforms in Tiaret are positive at an average level reaching 57.2%.

- There are statistically significant differences in primary teachers’ attitudes towards 2nd Generation reforms in what regards the variable of the gender.

- There are statistically significant differences in primary teachers’ attitudes towards 2nd Generation reforms in what regards the variable of the experience.

-There are no statistically significant differences in primary teachers’ attitudes towards 2nd Generation reforms in what regards the variable of the school year.

The results were discussed on the basis of literature review, previous studies, and on the basis sample characterics
