This research deals with an important part of intellectual, religious and social life in Jerusalem city.

This research starts at acknowledging at the sophism movement as It is described as clear intellectual attitude ones spread in that age and as it is connected greatly with the Islamic Khawaniq system.

In the second section, according to the Khawaniq existed in Jerusalem, The researcher discussed the system of its work and its role in Intellectual and scientific life, And also the jobs found in it, and its financial sources which kept the continuity of its work for long periods.

Also the studying methods and the teaching of students the stages of sophism.

The choose of Al- khanqa sheikh was not spontaneous, but it is according to well-known system.

This research shows the great services offered by this Khawaniq side with the other institutions in the religious and scientific aspect for Jerusalem citizens specific and Moslem in general.
