Arabic Abstract
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين نوبات الغضب و الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر الأمهات، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 106 ) من الأمهات لأطفال الروضة عمر ( 5-6 ) سنوات من محافظة الزرقاء تم اختيارها بالطريقة القصدية.
و تم إتباع المنهج الارتباطي.
و لتحقيق هدف الدراسة قامت الباحثة ببناء وتطوير أداة الدراسة الأولى المتعلقة بنوبات الغضب لدى الأطفال، و تطوير أداة الدراسة الثانية المتعلقة بالذكاء الاجتماعي.
أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى نوبات الغضب لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر الأمهات كان متوسطا، كما أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أطفال الروضة من وجهة نظر الأمهات كان متوسطا.
وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية بين نوبات الغضب و الذكاء الاجتماعي.
بناء على نتائج الدراسة فقد أوصت باجراء المزيد من الابحاث والدراسات المتعلقة ببناء برامج مناسبة للتقليل من نوبات الغضب لدى الأطفال و برامج تساعد في تنمية الذكاء الاجتماعي.
English Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between temper-tantrums and social intelligence in kindergarten (KG) children (5-6) in the municipality of Zarqa from mothers’ perspectives.
The research used a descriptive method of the type of correlational studies.
To examine the perceptions of KG mothers of their children’s tantrums episodes and social intelligence.
The sample of the study was purposive and comprised of (106) mothers of KG children aged (5-6) selected from the municipality of Zarqa.
To achieve the study goals, the researcher developed and devised two tools (instruments): the first identifies and measures tantrums and the other is to identify and measure social intelligence.
The results showed that the participants’ perceptions of their KG children in respect to tantrums levels were intermediate.
It also showed that the participants’ perceptions of their KG children in respect to social intelligence level was intermediate as well.
Based on these results, the researcher recommends that there is a need to conduct training workshops for KG teacher.
The study also recommends conducting more studies that aims at constructing suitable programs to reduce KG children’s temper tantrums and develop their social intelligence.
