Pragmatics is a linguistic orientation that focuses on the study of speech.

Speech is an individual activity that the speaker performs in different communicative circumstances to achieve goals and purposes.

It also focuses on studying the meaning in the context of use, and the surrounding circumstances.

I will try to present a pragmatic approach, in which I will address the efforts of both Austin and Searle in the field of speech acts, then I will apply Speech Acts Theory according to Searle's quintuple division that begins with proof actions, then guidance, then promises, expressions, and declarations on the poetic discourse titled I Will Not Cry by the Palestinian poet Fadwa Toukan.

Finally, I conclude with results of the search.
