This article approaches the nature of relationship between two cognitive fields affiliated to the Circle of Literature .

It is about stylistic and literary criticism.

Despite the independence of each of them on the basis on which they are established, the characteristics that distinguish them, and their own approaches to research, they have undeniable aspects of interference.

Perhaps the most prominent of them is their participation in studying and analyzing literary texts in order to reveal their aesthetic values and involving the reader in the aesthetic reception, in addition to participating in other functions such as the explanation and interpretation, with variation in depth and scope of vision.

For the Differentiation, it has aspects such as: the exclusive right of criticism in value judgments, broadening the limits of interpretation, and the openness of stylistic analysis to include other discourses outside the literary sphere.
