Abstract EN

This research seeks to shed light on the effectiveness of figurative formation in the Andalusian Shawki that abounds in linguistic richness and semantic argumentation.

Hence, the poet found the rhetorical mechanisms provided by language as a haven for him to express his psychological state, and an effort to convey his poetic experience, especially for the one caused by the bitter life of exile; as well as the energies of its figurative mechanisms that had a supreme hand in generating significance and establishing the purpose of poetic discourse and effecting the recipient's imagination in order to evoke his feelings and influence him.
