Abstract EN

This paper aims to show the importance of tourism expansion areas and tourist sites in the district of Batna situated in the eastern site of Algeria, through an analytical study based upon various tourist components enjoyed by the socalled district, as well as the role of these areas in tourism development.

The study concluded that tourism industry in the district of Batna is still suffering from stagnation and delay, as the pursued policy in the region regarding this subject is not at the level of aspirations despite great potential of these areas.
