Abstract EN
The aim of the current research is to identify the impact of a proposed educational program based on the blending of guided imagination strategy and e-learning on developing positive thinking skills among students of the Faculty of Home Economics through teaching the Home Economics Teaching Methods course, and to achieve this goal, positive thinking skills were identified appropriate for university students.
The foundations for building an educational program based on inclusion were identified, and in light of these foundations, the program was designed that relied on the blending of a strategy of guided imagination in its stages, such as classroom teaching and e-learning via the Internet.
Of 60 female students from the fourth year (Departments of Nutrition and Food Science and Food Technology) at the Faculty of Home Economics, Al-Azhar University, and the research tool consisted in the positive thinking scale (the researcher preparation), and the scale was applied before and after the research sample students, and the results showed the effective impact of the educational program The proposal was to develop positive thinking skills among female students, and the program's influence continued during a period of time Follow-up, and the results did not show a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the research sample on the positive thinking scale due to the difference in academic specialization.
In light of these results, the research recommends the need for university study programs to focus on developing positive thinking skills, the necessity of using wave imagery strategy to modify some negative mental images and psychological features of students, and interest in blending e-learning strategies with other teaching strategies to employ more mental processes.
