Global-local and global-local-global local-local global odds ratios for ordered categorical data

In thjs research we use the concepts of odds ratios to analyse an ordered categorical data.

The types of odds ratios that are used include the usual ones* the local-local odds ratios* along with new types of odds ratios that conform with Ae categories of the variables forming the categorical data.

The data of the study are collected from a random sample of students at the University College * Hi6 C°nCC? iS 10 investiSate association between the academic performance level of students and the educational level of their guardians.

The study showed that the association between the two variables forming the cross- classified tables can be understood and interpreted pretty precisely under these concepts of odds ratios.
