Abstract EN

In the donkey, the fibrous skeleton of the heart was composed of a group of fibrous structures which encircled the margins of the inflow and outflow orifices of the ventricles in a form of rings.

In addition to the presence of the central fibrous body with two cartilaginous areas (right and left fibrous triogons).

The right and left atrioventricular fibrous rings in addition to the aortic and pulmonary rings were formed from collagen fibers.

The central fibrous body appeared as thick fibrous structure formed of collagen fibers.

It presented two right and left fibrous trigones.

Both are formed of hyaline cartilage.
