Abstract EN

This article discusses the grammatical and morphological choices which are stated in Ibn Jinni`s explanation for Al-Mutannabi`s divan, collection of poems, which is called `` Alfasr``, the eldest explanation of Al Mutannabi`s divan.

What makes these opinions, that are related to Almutannabi, more authentic is that Ibn Jinni was reciting those poems to him.

Therefore, ``Alfasr`` was the most reliable source book since then.

Moreover, the researcher discusses some other grammatical and morphological choices in other source books other than ``Alfasr``, in addition to some grammatical and morphological opinion, which are not stated explicitly by Al Mutannabi, but are mentioned by other scholars in some positions where they provoke grammatical, morphological, or semantic problems.

Though Al Mutannabi tends to the Kofan school in most of his choices, he differs from them in some opinions, as in the formation of the comparative and superlative adjective.

This article comprises twenty-six issues ; Eighteen of them are grammatical, and eight are morphological.
