Abstract AR

Abstract EN

The research objective initially was to predict traveller's behaviour, in a potential after Corona period, through their risks perception, attitudes and intentions to travel abroad.

Secondly was to verify the existence or not of an impact of perceived risk related to COVID-19, on negative attitude towards travel and travel intention, by determining the nature of relationships between these three behavioural variables, and that once travel restrictions measures will be lifted.

The study was conducted by a quantitative approach based on descriptive statistics, and correlations on a sample of 150 individuals, among Algerians accustomed to travel.

Results revealed that the health risk perception related to the pandemic was high, and this perceived risk influenced the negative attitude towards travel and travel intention of our sample.

That influence was proved by statistically significant correlations, between the three studied behavioural variables.

This study may help in tourism marketing strategies development.
