Abstract EN
The aim of the research is to enhance intellectual security among a sample of adolescents of Dar Almolahzah guests in Taif Governorate, by designing and building a proposed system based on combined education and knowing its role in developing some metacognitive skills and explaining the impact of this on enhancing intellectual security among the research sample, which was divided into two experimental groups In light of the knowledge method (independence - dependence) on the cognitive field.
The ADDIE model was used as one of the educational design models, through the steps of analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation.
The researcher used the semi-experimental approach in carrying out the research experiment, based on some tools, including: Test the including forms of the collective image to classify the research sample into (independent / dependence), an achievement test of the concepts related to metacognitive skills and areas of enhancing intellectual security and the metacognitive scale prepared by the researcher to know the extent of the skills achievement for the research sample.
The results indicated that there is an impact of the proposed system on the achievement of students and metacognitive skills, and the distinction of adolescents in the independent category from their dependent peers, and the study recommended that the attention of education institutions and all community institutions should be emphasized on methods of enhancing intellectual security among individuals in general and adolescents in particular, It also recommended the importance of adopting such systems and educational training programs in developing and enhancing intellectual security and its concepts among individuals.
