Abstract EN

Chemistry courses have undergone many changes that leads to changing their goals, topics, and teaching strategies, which caused obstacles indicating a problem related to the chemistry course and its teaching.

This current research aimed to inquire the efficacy of teaching Chemistry by (Gordon) module on the achievement and acquisition operations of science of students at first grade of secondary school in Makkah.

A semi-experimental methodology was used with design on a control group and an experimental group.

The research results show the superiority of the experimental group over the control group.

Depending on the results of the research, the recommendations and suggestions that could benefit the teacher's chemistry course, as well as specialists in developing curricula and strategies of teaching them.
