Abstract EN

This study aimed at clarifying the wars and conflicts that Yemen had since 2011 and their negative effects on the educational process in terms of infrastructure, teacher, student, curriculum, classroom and extra-curricular activities and educational outputs d The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and the historical approach.

The study showed the following resultse Yemen has gone through many wars and conflicts, both before and after unity.

The victims of these conflicts were the Yemeni citizens and their educational process.

The most severe and long lasting war was that which broke out in 2015 that affected citizens, children and educational process negativelyd dThe study proved that war and political conflicts are the enemy of the educational process, as it is the reason for the destruction of the school infrastructures.

It also showed that there are students whose poor living situation forced them to work.

The researcher provided some recommendations such as urging all conflicting parties to abide by the Convention of the Child's Rights.

They must protect the fundamental rights of children in times of peace and war and they must avoid involving children and students in wars and in their political activities such as participating in demonstrations and carrying out civil disobedience.
