In this study, we seek to clarify the motivations for violent extremism in the Maghreb, as well as to provide various mechanisms for management and coordination to combat violent extremism, especially in light of the return of individual extremist fighters from hotbeds of tension to their countries of the Maghreb, and what can result from them spreading their terrorist extremist ideas, including Affects and affects national and regional security in the Maghreb, and we will rely on this study on the following axes: 1 - Concepts of: extremism, terrorism and terrorist groups2 - The motivations for violent extremism in the Maghreb.

3 - Management and coordination mechanisms to combat violent extremism in the Maghreb.
