Abstract EN

The composition of Algerian society is too complicated given several factors namely the cultural variety and the change that have affected all areas of life; economic, political, social and particularly the cultural aspect.

The latter represents an important investigation field of researches in order to reveal the mechanisms of its functionary without dismissing the importance of the social aspect.

This article addresses the question of two major important institutions given their roles and place in Algerian society in this case; family, and life based on a concept so widely used in the social sciences – conservatism-the objective is the seek common sense about the namely conservative city, conservative family.
