And highlights the influential role of lobby groups and interests in the process of foreign policy-making in the United States of America by influencing the executive and legislative branches.

These groups seek to influence the external decision-making process to push towards adopting certain policies that are in line with their interests, as well as to abandon some external policies or attitudes that may adversely affect the interests of these groups.
