The gate through which this study gets into its milieu is important in identifying who is Jarir Bin Attia Al-Khutfi? And what is his virtuous doctrine? These need to know well the features and identities of Jarir's ethical character that is by focusing on the aspects of chastity in his poetry, mainly; on the meaning which involves a moral concept through which people praise others and at the same time how they condemn each others.

Thus, this study should have been methodologically defined.

Moreover, the definition of chastity as moral and cognitive value from theoretical and functional dimensions will clarify the study scope in moving the functional dimension of chastity poetry to express its insights without any external influence and this is so called chastity interrelatedness and poetry issues.

Erotic poetry has been affected by chastity issues.

This affection is deeply expressed in Jarir's poetry compared to other poems.
