Abstract EN

The security factor is one of the most important factors in developing the tourism sector.

this study aims to highlight the impact of the events of the Arab spring on the tourism sector in some of countries : Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan and Algeria, in particular, over the period 2000-2015 using both the panel data and causality analysis.

the study concluded the evidence of that tourism is driving economic growth and its regression of incomes in the countries studied is due to the revolutions of the Arab spring in some of them or the reflection of the instability in neighboring countries.
