The research aims at highlighting the technology of virtual reality and its application to information technology, and determining the obstacles facing applying it according to travel agencies point of view.

The results of analyzing the questionnaire indicated a positive relationship between applying virtual reality technology and increasing the number of tourists who visit Egypt and this by turn will help to promote tourism in Egypt.
