The present study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship between self- compassion and psychological resilience in the study sample of adolescents with eating disorders, and Study the differences between males and females of adolescents with eating disorders in self- compassion, and Comparison of male and female adolescents with eating disorders in psychological resilience.

The sample of the study included (60) male/females Eating Disorders adolescents, divided into 30 males& 30 females, selected purposely, aged (16- 18) year olds with average age 17.166 and standard deviation 0.784.

The researcher used the following study tools: Scale of Self- compassion for adolescents.

(Prepared by: the researcher), Scale of Psychological resilience for adolescents.

(Prepared by: the researcher), Scale of Asuit University for Non- verbal Intelligence (by Taha El- Mestekawy, 2000), Scale of the Socio- Economic Cultural Level (by Mohamed Safaan& Duaa Khatab, 2016), and Eating- disorders scale.

The results indicated there is a significant statistical positive correlation between average scores of adolescents with eating disorders on scale of psychological resilience for adolescents (psychological hardness, self- efficacy, Faith and Spiritual Values, Positive future outlook, total score) and self- compassion for adolescents (self- kindness, common humanity, mind fullness, total score), Results indicate statistically significant differences between average scores of male/female adolescents with eating disorders on scale of psychological resilience (psychological hardness, self- efficacy, Faith and Spiritual Values, Positive future outlook, total score), in favor of males, and results indicate statistically significant differences between average scores of the study sample of Male/ Female adolescents with eating disorders on scale of self- compassion(self- kindness, common humanity, mind fullness, total score), in favor of males.

From the above we can say that self- compassion and psychological resilience are important variables for adolecents in healing from eating disorders, because it may help the individual to solve his problems and access to mental health.
