Abstract EN

This research deals with an issue of Fiqh which has a modern nature.

This issue is "the denial of family relationship and the role of science in this respect".

I've started first by illustrating the position of family relationship in Islamic sharia, and how much Islamic legislation is interested in the protection of family relationship.

Then I mentioned the denial of the bases of family relationship from scholars point views.

These points of view are based on the minimum time of pregnancy and the disability of husband to bring up children.

Finally, I turned to illustrate the denial of family relationship according to the modern scientific facts supported by blood groups and DNA fingerprint.
