The present study aims to review the child's story critically and technically because of the scarcity of the critical studies if compared to the educational ones on the children's stories.

The children's stories of Assayed Negm has been selected because no critical narrative study investigated his collection despite its various objectives, patterns, and sources.

The collection covers traditional issues to raise the awareness of children and promote pride in national culture and identity.

Moreover, Negm was keen on presenting stories with modern dimensions that rely in significances and perceptions on the interaction with the digital medium (the computer), stressing the concept of change in the modern world.

The stories of Assayed Negm mainly aimed to achieve balance and cohesion between the traditional and contemporary perspectives.

Thus, the reader can understand, adjust, and interact with history actively.
