In recent years, the phenomenon of privatization of war has become a new security strategy.

During armed conflicts, States have used private military and security companies that perform functions previously reserved for the regular armed forces.

These companies have become a feature of the new international order and are acting in security as a commodity.

They are sold far from all the ethical values and principles that govern international relations.

In this context, we will discuss the status of private international military companies, the extent to which their forces are committed to the application of the rules of international humanitarian law and the possibility of holding their forces accountable for serious violations of force.
