الملخص EN

This study aimed at recognizing the frequency of the social withdrawal phenomenon with the trainees of special needs (optic and motion disabilities) and its relation to fear and anxiety according to the effects of some variables )nature of disability, age, education level of the disabled).

The sample was composed of (130) of disabled trainees 55) motion disability) and (optic disability) in Damascus.

The researcher has prepared two tools on credibility and cohesion of the scientific criteria.

The statistical formulas suitable to the nature of the study were used.

Among the important results, we found that there were significant statistical differences among the optically disabled trainees, and there were no significant statistical differences among the motion disabled trainees on the issue of social withdrawal according to the variables used in the study (nature of disability, age, education level of the disabled).

Also, there were significant statistical differences among motion disabled trainees and optically disabled trainees in cases of fear and anxiety in accordance to the variables of the study (nature of disability, age education level of the disabled).

Finally, there was correlation of statistical significance between behavior of social withdrawal and the cases of fear and anxiety of the participants in the sample.
