The objective of the current research is to investigate the effectiveness of the structural use of the Needham model in correcting Misconceptions and developing the Generative thinking skills of biology in secondary students, To achieve this goal the research sought to answer the following main question: How effective is the use of structural Needham model in correcting misconceptions in biology and developing the Generative thinking skills of secondary students? The research sample consisted of (60) second secondary students in Al-Mansoura secondary school for Girls, Umm Al-Muminin secondary for girls.

The researcher prepared the test of the Generative thinking skills and the test of the Misconceptions.

The results of the research indicated that there is an effective use of the structural Needham model in developing the skills of Generative thinking and correcting misconceptions.

In light of these results, the researcher presented some recommendations and proposed research
