A meta-analysis applied to the employee share ownership-firm performance relationship

In this article we have carried out a meta-analysis of eighty empirical studies carried out by researchers in different countries in the world over the past forty years in order to examine the impact of employee share ownership on firms performance.

Our results show small but positive and statistically significant effects for the different studies using different empirical methodologies.
