الملخص EN

The current research aims to know the procedural knowing ( connected knowing and separated knowing) at the secondary stage students for both specializations ( Scientific and literary) .

The sample consists of 400 male and female students from 16 schools of Al-Rusafa /1 directorates and Rusafa/2 in Baghdad.

The researcher has used scale of procedural knowing (connected knowing and separated knowing, composing of 20 items he translated them from English into Arabic .

After he found reliability of scale translation by a set of experts , he distributed on a sample of analysis for collecting information and data analysis , using tools for extracting reliability of the scale .

All items have been valid , it has been also extracted scale of procedural knowing ( connected knowing and separated knowing) as a whole by the method of Re-test that amounted 0.77, the connected knowing amounted ( 0.72) , while the separated knowing amounted ( 0.73) .

This could have been extracted by the method of " Cronbach Alpha 's scale as a whole, where it has amounted 0.80.

The connected knowing amounted ( 0.75) , while the consistence coefficient for the separated knowing reached to ( 0.75) .After applying the scale with its final stage on sample consisting of 200 students, and making sure of scale digression and rates , the researcher has reached to the following: 1 st.

Existing connected procedural knowing at the secondary stage–students.

2 nd .Existing separated procedural knowing at the secondary stage– students.

3 rd.

There is not a difference for the coefficient of gender (males and females) in the scale of procedural knowing ( connected and separated knowing) at the secondary school students.

4 th .

There is not a difference for the coefficient of specialization ( Scientific and literary) in the scale of procedural knowing (connected and separated knowing) at the secondary school students.

In the light of that , the researcher has reached to a set of recommendations and suggestions.
