The current research sought to identify and measure the level of academic boredom among a sample of university students in Baghdad Governorate (Al-Mustansiriya, Technology, Baghdad) for the academic year (2018-2019), and to identify and test the statistical differences between them by gender and specialization in the level of academic boredom, to the responses of the research sample and the statistical analysis of (400) male and female students were randomly selected from the research community, and tested and interpreted statistically, on (30) paragraphs.

The scale and its paragraphs enjoy indices of differential validity indicating all of its paragraphs at the levels of significance (0,05) and (0,01), and degrees of freedom (214), Using the T-test for two independent samples, and enjoying indicators of internal consistency of significant correlation coefficients for all its paragraphs at the significance levels of (0.05) and (0.01), with the Pearson correlation equation, and the scale obtained a high stability coefficient of (0,86) with the Alpha Cronbach equation .

The results show that the university students have academic boredom in general, regardless of the many causes and motives.

In its general form, it may be bored by the current educational system, as it is a traditional system that does not rise to aspirations and aspirations.

It represents all students in the research sample by calculating the significance of the differences between the arithmetic average and the hypothetical average.

The degrees of the responses of the research sample on the scale paragraphs and in favor of the arithmetic mean by using the T-test for one sample and society and with a degree of freedom (399), and the level of significance (0.05), and the use of binary variance analysis, to know the significance of the differences according to gender and specialization, so the calculated value of both reached the value less than the value The tables are marked with degrees of freedom (1 and 396), and the level of significance (0.05), which means that all students in the research sample have academic boredom both for both sexes and in both scientific and human specializations, and made several recommendations and proposals for those concerned with academic affairs, perhaps the most important of which is the need to reveal the needs Students, whether through opinion polls, tests, special examinations, discussion and student meetings and seminars ....

Then agreements are reached to draw up a policy for new education systems in which university students represent Part A For the largest in work starting from planning and ending with implementation, perhaps the best of these policies, according to the researcher's opinion, is to conduct a process of displaying and selecting the experiences of countries in university education that is very successful and close to their needs and aspirations such as Japan or Malaysia or ..., according to what is agreed upon between them so the change will be in their hands It is their choice, and they are responsible for its implementation and success, their creative youthful energy, with the least resources and efforts, without any waste.
