الملخص EN

The research aims to know (the effect of the waiting time strategy on the acquisition of Arabic grammar for students of the third level of non-formal education), and to achieve this the researcher chose his research community in the governorate of Baghdad, and a sample of students from the third level of accelerated education with intentionally intent from (Al-Manar Primary School for Education) The non-formal) affiliated to the Baghdad Directorate of Education in Rusafa / the third for the academic year (2019-2020), the research sample reached (40) pupils, randomly distributed into two groups, the first experimental and the number (20) pupils were studied using (the waiting time strategy), and the other is a control The number (20) pupils studied in the traditional way, and the researcher rewarded among the students (the sample of the research) in the following variables: (age time calculated by months, academic achievement of parents, grades of the previous year, and intelligence test), and the researcher formulated (58) behavioral goals, and prepared plans Teaching, and chose a subject from the curriculum to be taught; To represent the achievement measurement tool, and then the researcher prepared an achievement test for the students of the two groups, which consisted of (49) paragraphs from a variety of multiple choices, the test was characterized by honesty, consistency and objectivity, after informing the specialists and stakeholders of it in the methods of teaching, measurement and evaluation.

The researcher applied the achievement test to the students of the two groups at the end of the experiment, and used the appropriate statistical means and data in his research represented (the T-test for two independent samples, the Kay square, the Pearson correlation coefficient, the paragraph difficulty equations and the differential strength and the effectiveness of the false alternatives), and the results showed the superiority of the experimental group students who They studied using the "waiting time strategy", on students of the control group who studied in the traditional way in the achievement test.

The researcher recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: Adoption of the (waiting time strategy) in teaching grammar grammar for the third level of non-formal education; As one of the modern strategies that provide an opportunity for meditation, reflection, and dialogue among learners, inside the classroom.

The researcher suggested conducting several studies, most notably: A similar study of the current research in other variables such as (contemplative thinking, and critical thinking).
