الملخص الإنجليزي

The current research aims to find out the effect of alternatives strategy on the development of systems thinking among fourth-grade literary students in the subject of history, and to verify this, the researcher used an experimental design with partial control with the experimental and control groups and the pre and post tests.

The researcher randomly selected Diyala high school, specifically fourth-grade literary students to conduct Experiment by the simple random drawing method.

Division (A) was chosen to be the experimental group that studies history according to the strategy of alternatives, whose number is (30) students, and Division (B) represented the control group that was studied according to the usual method, which reached (30) students as well.

The researcher was rewarded.

Between the two groups of research with the following variables (academic achievement of parents, academic achievement of mothers, scores for the history of Arab-Islamic civilization in the final exam for the first academic year of the academic year (2017-2018), IQ test scores, pre-system thinking test scores.
