Evaluating teaching methods articles published in first quartile journals in the light of suggested criteria

The world university rankings have become more significant and play an important part in scientific research and education.

More research scientists and academic staff in the different academic and research organizations worldwide come under increasing pressure to publish in high-tier journals" .Therefore, this study is intended to find out if Teaching Methods articles published in highest ranked journals; namely , the first quartile (Q1) journals match to standards of high quality research writing .

"A descriptive-analytical approach was used to achieve the goals of the study.

The main tool which the researcher used to collect data was a content analysis card.

The researcher has benefited from related literature, journals, previous studies, and books to build the criteria of evaluation of his study tool".

A total of 117 papers during the period (2015-2019 ) were examined to evaluate the components of research articles .

The findings of this study indicate that the relative weight of the components of TMs research, as a whole, published in the Q1 journals is (77.84%) ; this result indicates the availability of quality indicators in TMs articles published in Q1 journals because all categories and subcategories of the 117 articles strongly meet the suggested evaluation criteria of high quality research writing.
