The current research aims to know the effect of the innovative methods in developing the critical thinking skill of the literary fifth students.

The control group who studied according to the traditional method.

The researcher chose Al-Hakim Preparatory School for Boys and includes two divisions (A and B), Division (B) was chosen to represent the experimental group and Division (A) to represent the control group.

The researcher equalized between the students of the two groups in the following variables (chronological age and grades of the students for the previous year, the academic achievement of the parents).

During the experiment, which lasted (6) weeks, and after the end of the experiment, the researcher conducted a written test in the rhetorical methods.

The researcher used statistical methods to deal with the data.

After analyzing the results, the researcher reached the superiority of the students of the experimental group who studied the innovative methods over the students of the control group.
