Supporting communicative approach using youtube to teach the apology strategies to secondary school students: an experimental study

The current experimental study aims at explore the effect of using Artificial Intelligence, more specifically, YouTube, to support the communicative approach to teach EFL learners the apology strategies.

the sample of the study consisted of 50 male students from al-Sadiq al-Ameen Secondary School for Boys who were selected by the researchers in the second term of the academic year 2020 / 2021.

Pre-post tests were used to collect data.

T-Test and One-Way ANOVA were used to analyze the data.

(Results revealed that the experimental group who use the communicative approach assisted with technology performed better than the control group who use the communicative approach alone without technology.
