الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aims at identifying the effectiveness of a program based on Manipulative to develop conceptual and procedural knowledge in the geometry and measurement unit among pupils of the second primary grade.

Study tools: The researcher prepared a test to measure conceptual knowledge consisting of (15) multiple choice items, and a procedural knowledge test consisting of (15) multiple choice items.

Study sample: The study sample consisted of (25) pupils from Beit-Lahia Primary School in the northern Gaza Strip.

Research methodology: The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach in conducting the study.

The most important findings of the study : 1- There is a statistically significant impact at the level of significance (α=0.05) between the mean scores of the pupils in the pre and post application to test the conceptual knowledge of the second-grade pupils.

2- here is a statistically significant impact at the level of significance(α=0.05) between the mean scores of the pupils in the pre and post application of the procedural knowledge test of the second-grade pupils.

The most important recommendations of the study : 1- Providing an appropriate educational environment for implementing the educational program based on Manipulative in public education institutions.

2- Holding training courses for male and female teachers to train them on using the educational program based on Manipulative in educational situations in a way that enriches the educational process and helps in developing skills and achievement.
