In response to the need of reviewing the current obsolete pedagogical methods, which are unable to arouse the interests of the students, this paper comes to the fore.

reconsidering the 21st century students, it is high time to search the pedagogical methods that integrate the digital technology in teaching and learning to meet the demands of the nowadays’ students.

in order to teach the 21st century skills, the flipped classroom is one of the successful methods as proven in many international experiences and educational practices.

since the Islamic education is one of the school subjects in the Moroccan curriculum, this paper seeks the question of how to implement the flipped classroom in teaching Islamic education and thinking skills, using the descriptive and analytical approach through three axes and a conclusion.
