Iraqi museum has embraced important ruins dated back to more than five thousand years ago.

It is considered as one of the most important cultural centers in the world.

It was initiated by the British notable lady Ms Bell Troder in 1924,and in 1957 King Fiasel the second set the basis for the creation of the present building of the Iraqi museum located in the karkh area.

Iraqi museum is considered as one of the tools assisting society and researchers to understand the history of all those people who have lived on this piece of land and had built great civilizations.

Also, it is considered as one of the social tools and developments through the investment in the historical memory in order to raise the individual's consciousness and develop its knowledge
