Students who did not pass the program based on the (Swartz) model in a skills test ofhigh rank thinking.

The two researchers chose the partial-controlled design (experimental and controlled group) with a post-test of high-order thinking skills for second-grade intermediate students, and the research sample was intentionally chosen from students (Al-Ghazali Intermediate School for Boys), due to its proximity to the researchers' workplace, and to obtain appropriate facilities for research application procedures.

As the research sample reached (71) students, and the random selection fell on division (A) consisting of (36) students to represent the experimental group, and division (B) consisting of (35) students to represent the control group, the research sample was rewarded with the following variables (age Chronology, intelligence, and high-order thinking skills).

The two researchers prepared a high-ranking thinking skills test tool for second- grade intermediate students, consisting of (40) items distributed between its three areas (critical thinking skill, problem-solving skill, and metacognitive thinking skill).

The test validity was verified by presenting it to the arbitrators.

And extract the construction validity and reliability factor for each of the three test areas.

In order to extract the results of the research, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS-18) and the (Microsoft Excel) program were used, as the statistical methods were adopted (the t-test for two independent samples (t-test) to extract the equivalence between the experimental and control groups of the research sample, and the Pearson correlation coefficient.

Coefficient, the Kuder-Richardson Formulas equation 2020, the Coefficient Cronbach Alpha, the equation of the difficulty factor and the discriminant coefficient).

The high-ranking thinking skills test was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2021-2020) and after processing the data statistically, the results showed that students of the experimental group outperformed students of the control group in terms of high-ranking thinking skills.

In light of this, the two researchers reached the following conclusion: - The effect of the program based on the Swartz model on high-order thinking skills among second-grade intermediate students.

The researchers also reached a number of recommendations, including: - Adopting the program based on the (Swartz) model in teaching all stages of second-grade intermediate students to the subject of biology.

8- Reconsideration by the Ministry of Education - Curriculum Directorate in including the skills of the program based on the (Swartz) model and in line with the scientific and technological development.

The researchers suggested a number of studies to complement this study, including: 1- The effect of a program based on the (Swartz) model on the creative thinking of second-grade students.

2- The effect of a program based on the (Swartz) model on high-ranking thinking skills for middle school students in other subjects such as physics and chemistry.
