The current research is determined: Wasit University students for primary morning studies of both sexes تmales - females) and for the (scientific - humanitarian) specialization for the academic year (2021-2022).

The study sample amounted to (400) male and female students, including (200) male and female students, and from the scientific and humanitarian specializations from the students of Wasit University for the morning study.

The sample was chosen by the stratified random method.

(2006), and the scale consists of (29) items according to the theory (Hidi & Reingger, 2006), and the psychometric properties of the scale were verified and its validity and reliability were extracted.

The result of research was University students have an academic interesta.

Based on these results, the research came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions
