الملخص EN

The research aims to identify the teaching practices of applied students according to knowledge economy skills in physics and to identify the differences that enhance the gender variable in the use of those practices.

To achieve this aforementioned goal, the research sample was randomly selected, which amounted to (141) male and female students, with a percentage of (65.88%), from the research community, which included (214) male and female students, i.e.

all students/applicants to the fourth grade in the Department of Physics/College of Education for Pure Sciences/Ibn Al-Haytham/ Baghdad University.

The observation tool was used, which included (20) paragraphs distributed on (11) knowledge economy skills, which are (the skill of learning how to learn, the skill of information management, the skill of creative thinking, the skill of decision-making, the skill of decision-making and problem solving, the skill of cooperation and teamwork, The skill of applying information technology, communication skill, personal influence skill and leadership skill) where the apparent sincerity and sincerity of its content were found to be presented to experts specialized in educational and psychological sciences, as well as finding its stability coefficient, which amounted to (91.2%) using Pearson’s coefficient.

Using frequencies, percentages, and arithmetic averages, results were reached that indicate that there is weakness in general among applied students in their use of teaching practices according to knowledge economy skills in physics, except for two teaching practices in particular (helping to acquire self-learning skills for physics information, and Developing the ability to compare and evaluate limits for physical problems using scientific thinking.

In general, the results of the current research are attributed to the non-inclusion of the vocabulary of practical education for fourth-grade students in the faculties of education for teaching practices according to the skills of knowledge economy in physics.

Therefore, the researcher recommended the necessity of taking into account the placement of vocabulary related to the knowledge economy within the vocabulary of study subjects related to qualification for the teaching profession.
