The countries of the world pay great attention to the issue of disability, so they hold conferences, seminars, and scientific forums, and establish and help establish various scientific and charitable associations, regional and international organizations, and issue international charters and agreements that guarantee the rights of persons with disabilities and those of similar status people with disabilities vibrant practices and solutions.

however, families of disabled children face continuous challenges that can affect the various aspects of family life.

these challenges have been associated with increased feelings of pressure and stress, symptoms of depression, and a low level of family well-being with the birth of a disabled child, which leads to disruption of roles in it, and the family system becomes in need of rebuilding to coexist with the variables of the child's disability.

and thus, the child's disability is a severe shock to the family, as families face difficulties and lack of information and cultural awareness they have, as well as financial and health difficulties on how to deal with him, and society's acceptance of this group of children with disabilities and their integration with ordinary children to obtain available educational opportunities, which indicates the seriousness of the issue search.

to achieve this, the current research sought to find the cultural awareness of the families of children with disabilities and its relationship to the social acceptance of children with disabilities in the light of contemporary educational trends, and to identify the most important obstacles and problems facing families of children with disabilities towards their children, and the most important needs and requirements for children with disabilities in the light of educational trends contemporary.

the research used the descriptive analytical method to collect data and information that can be classified and analyzed to benefit from it in determining the extent of cultural awareness of families of children with disabilities.

the research sample included (45) families of disabled children (20 fathers-25 mothers) from the Dakahlia governorate, administered by each of (West Mansoura-Mit Ghamr-Aja-al-Sinbellaween-Talkha).

the researcher used the research tool, which was a questionnaire addressed to families of disabled children (prepared by the researcher).

it became clear to the researcher through the field study to reach the following results: there are no statistically significant differences in the responses of families of children with disabilities, the research sample is attributed to the research variables and includes (the first axis: the reality of the cultural awareness of families of children with disabilities-the second axis: the reality of social acceptance of children people with disabilities-the third axis: the obstacles facing families of children with disabilities towards their disabled children-the fourth axis: the requirements of families of children with disabilities to activate the social acceptance of their children in society.).
