Texts hiding in speech cover signal using multi-resolution discrete wavelet transform

In this paper a high robustness against the attackers of text hiding in speech cover system is presented by using multi-resolution discrete wavelet transform decomposition and reconstruction in message hiding system and the decomposition only in message recovery system.

The system tested by using a16 bits per sample and sampled at a rate of 44,100 Hz, the digital sound has been used in this work as a carrier signal because it has the bit-rate to support large size of text messages.

In addition, audio is often transient and unpredictable, facilitating the hiding of information and gave high level of security.

The (txt) format for text message and (wav) format for speech cover signal are used in test of system.

Programs and graphics are executed using MATLAB version 7.
